This dashboard presents information about Green Plastic - a type of plastic that is produced using renewable sources. It aims to educate the general public by arguing against the usage of finite resources such as fossil fuels in the production of plastic.
Sugarcane Production
Brazil is the largest producer of sugarcane in the world. Production is concentrated in the southeast region of the country, which has already been appropriately zoned.
Carbon Dioxide Reduction
On estimate, a hectare of a sugarcane field is capable of absorbing 3.84 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere, and produce 3 tons of green plastic.
Sugarcane Export
Continental Europe and Africa are not amongst the world's top producers of sugarcane. They are the potential biggest markets for sugarcane export .
